Police Arrest Thug In Lagos For Demanding Money From Motorist Whose Car Broke Down

A 28-year-old suspected thug, Michael Desmond, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for demanding money from a motorist whose car broke down.

A statement released by the command says the suspect was arrested after a motorist with a broken down car alerted the police that some miscreants were trying to extort money from him.

The statement mentioned that the suspect brazenly insisted he was entitled to what they popularly call “Owo Omo Taku”. He was promptly apprehended while his accomplice fled the scene and is currently on the run.
