Aggrieved Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) members from South-east extraction have expressed total dissatisfaction over the Ministerial Nominees list recently presented to the Senate, by the President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu.

The aggrieved party members also alleged that the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma never allowed Leaders of the party in the South-East region to make input on the Ministerial Nominees list which they accused him of having personal agenda.

Members of the party who spoke in Enugu, State Capital on Friday stated that South East APC zone and it’s leaders were not well Consulted before sending nominees from the zone to the Senate by the President.

They accused Hope Uzodinma, Imo State governor, of causing serious disunity in the party which According to them may bring total downfall of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in South-East.

Aggrieved party members who did not want their names on print accused Imo Governor, of overlapping prominent leaders of the party in Abia, Enugu, Imo and Anambra except in Ebonyi State.

The aggrieved individuals further revealed to newsmen that Uzodinma, the Imo Governor who is also the Chairman of Progressives Governors Forum, single-handedly nominated all Ministerial nominees from South East extraction.

Hear Them; “Out of Five, one man nominated three women as Ministers for South East…

“Rt Hon Nkeiruka Onyejeocha – Abia, Uju Kennedy Ohaneye Anambra, Doris Aniche Uzoka – Imo.

“The unfinished business of political pull him down by Hope Uzodinma against Tinubu is very much alive going by the unpopular Ministerial nominees he manipulated and pushed in to represent the slot of South-East states excluding Ebonyi State.

“Politics is local and it is derived from popularity. Uzodinma Has destroyed whatever that was remain of APC and Tinubu after the general election in the Eastern region.

“This is the very first time South East will project total strangers as Ministerial nominees courtesy of Uzodinma of Imo State. Who will fathom the moral behind the nomination of an unpopular Imo State commissioner for finance to represent Imo State at the Federal Executive Council, Doris Aniche Uzoka, a woman that nobody knows her name or which office she has occupied in Government before now.

“Who knows Uju Kennedy Ohaneye in Anambra if not that Uzodinma handpicked her to represent a wealthy state like Anambra?

“In Abia, Nkiru Onyejiocha, a woman who has nothing to show Constituents after 16 failed years of uninterrupted representation without nothing to show.

“In Enugu, Imo Governor manipulated his way desperately to project a failed APC governorship candidate, Uche Nnaji that came distant 3rd in the last election as a Ministerial nominee.

“Truth be told, APC is gone in South East, no wonder respected APC members in the zone decided to stay clear of the party beacuse of the overbearing influence by Uzodinma.” They said.

They advised president Tinubu to pay special attention to South East, to understand the foundation Uzodinma is laying for the party.
