Wife fatally stab husband over noddles arguments

A nursing mother, identified as Damilola Opeyemi, has been arrested after fatally stabbing her husband during a heated argument regarding a meal of noodles.

The distressing incident unfolded at the couple’s residence in the Adogba Ajegede area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

The dispute between Damilola Opeyemi and her 27-year-old husband, Oluwashina, arose over their dinner plans involving noodles.

As tensions escalated during the altercation, Damilola Opeyemi purportedly resorted to using a knife, tragically inflicting a fatal stab wound on her husband. Despite being rushed to a hospital, Oluwashina could not overcome his injuries and passed away.

Following the episode, law enforcement apprehended the wife, Damilola, and the deceased’s body was conveyed to the mortuary.

The police have taken Damilola into custody in connection with the incident.
