Bashir El-Rufai, son of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has slammed Nigerian rapper, Falz for undergoing knee surgery in the United Kingdom.
KanyiDaily recalls that Falz, a well known human rights activist, had shared a video of himself lying on a hospital bed with bandage wrapped around his leg and knee.
The rapper, who also called for prayers, revealed that he sustained while playing football with friends and he had a surgery on May 2, 2023, to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
Reacting to the news via his Twitter page, Bashir El-Rufai slammed Falz for undergoing surgery in the UK instead of going to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
The governor’s son, who expressed disappointment in the rapper’s action, wrote: “UK? He didn’t go to LASUTH as a bona-fide human rights activist? Disappointing”
KanyiDaily recalls that Falz and his fellow rapper, Vector, recently mocked the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu, over the 2023 elections.
