A former Judge of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in the Hague, Netherlands, Bola Ajibola is dead.

Bola Ajibola Cause Of Death

He died at the age of 89 on Saturday midnight after a long-time illness as a result of old age.

Ajibola was also a former Attorney-General of Nigeria.

His death was announced by his eldest child, Segun Ajibola (SAN) in a statement, on Sunday in Abeokuta.

“With very deep heart and gratitude to Almighty Allah,” the statement reads in part.

“Our Dad, Prince Bola Ajibola, departed this world over midnight. May Almighty Allah bless him with Aljanah Firdaus.”

The remains of the late prince Bola Ajibola is expected to be buried around 4 pm according to Islamic rites at his Islamic Mission for Africa Centre in Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State.

The respected legal icon founded Crescent University, Abeokuta.

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned what he described as the “extreme violence” and killings of scores of people in Benue State in the last week.

Buhari’s condemnation was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu.
