Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State claimed that certain individuals at the Presidential Villa are working against the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and want him to lose the February 25th election.

During a Thursday evening interview with TVC News, he alleged that the currency swap by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was aimed at inciting voters against APC and was orchestrated by forces wanting Tinubu to lose.

Governor El-Rufai stated that the unnamed individuals, who are hiding behind President Muhammadu Buhari, are pursuing their own interests by inciting voters against APC through the currency swap.

He said those working in the president’s name to inflict pain on Nigerians will be exposed after the election. The governor also mentioned defeating the cabals in previous attempts to influence the APC.
