A few weeks ago, Skepta gave us a taste of his upcoming album, Ignorance Is Bliss, dropping two solid singles, “Bullet From A Gun” and “Greazy Mode”. Now, the British-Nigerian rapper has unveiled a moody video for the former, getting us even more excited for the impending release.
On the self-produced track, which preaches perseverance through hard times, Skepta touches on a host of different subjects, including his daughter, his relationship with supermodels, finding confidence in his Nigerian lineage and his relationship with his father.
For the accompanying video, Skepta sits at the train station in Camden Town, with his daughter’s pram beside him. He remains the focal point of the video, sitting in the same position for its entirety, while chaos ensues around him — matching the song’s powerful lyrics.
