Killer of Nollywood Actor, Buchi Currently On The Run – Delta Police

An alarm has been raised by the Delta State Police Command following the murder of a Nollywood actor, Mr. Abuchi Ikpo aka Buchi.

Police say the killer is currently on the run.

The revelation came after Ikpo’s decomposing body was found in his apartment on Monday in the Jesus-Save area of Asaba, the Delta state capital.

Speaking with Journalists on Wednesday in Asaba, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, said Police had launched an investigation into the death of the actor.

He said, “The police visited the scene which is the deceased apartment at the Jesus-Save area on Monday, and removed the corpse.

“We are investigating the incident. Although the PA to the actor is being suspected, we can not presume him guilty until proven so.

“If the family says the suspect is the PA, then we will do our investigation. We are on his trail because he is on the run.”

Edafe, however, said no arrest has been made in connection to the incident.
