Presidential aspirant Adamu Garba has expressed shock at the decision of the All Progressives Congress fix its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at N100 million.

He took to Twitter to express his thoughts.

Recall that the national publicity secretary of the party, Felix Morka on Wednesday revealed the amounts involved for all those interested in purchasing the nomination and expression of interest forms.

The ruling party noted that for presidential aspirants, the nomination form would go for N70 million while expression of interest forms would go for N30 million.

The party’s forms for governorship aspirants cost ₦50 million; Senate, ₦20 million; House of Representatives, ₦10 million and State Houses of Assembly, ₦2 million.

Morka said women are entitled to free nomination forms but will pay for their expression of interest forms.

Reacting, Garba took to Twitter and wrote; “100M for the form, Wow!”

In another tweet, he wrote; ”If we don’t come together and use our collective power to save this country from strangulation of the moneybags, we are doing a great disservice to our generation and that of the future. We cannot continue to buy political offices in Nigeria, we need competent leaders come 2023”
