Ooni challenges Nigerians on electing leaders with capacity for National Development

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, atthe inauguration of the Omoluabi Day at his Palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State, challenged Nigerians to elect leaders who have the capacity to promote national development in all sector and take the country to the Promised Land.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi, at the inauguration of the Omoluabi Day, a day devoted to dialogue on the challenges of national development, admonished the youths on the effect of western colonization, which he said has eroded the cultural heritage of the Yoruba nation.

National Daily learned that the Royal Father also challenged political leaders in the country to come together and find a lasting solution to the security crises in the country, especially, northern Nigeria.

The national president of Yoruba Council of Youths, Oladotun Hassan, was said to have commended his royal majesty for his initiative of the Forum, while admonishing politicians to eschew from making statements capable of promoting tension and conflicts in the country
