DJ Spinall Supports Upcoming Singer, Dapo, On Wistful Love Song, ‘Mariana’

DJ Spinall has been very active in the music making process for many years now, sharing his talents not just as a disc jockey, but also as a deft musical mastermind who can bring together the right producers and artists on a track.

As well as his collaborative savvy, DJ Spinall works as an undefeated hypeman too — the role he plays on “Mariana”, the wistful new love song by X3M Music signee, Dapo.

The track begins with airy minor notes, followed by an excited DJ Spinall introducing his lesser-known collaborator. On the song’s opening hook, Dapo immediately flaunts his brilliant voice, as he curses Mariana for making him fall so deeply in love with her.

On “Mariana”, the young artist devotes his entire being to his eponymous lover, vowing to die for her if it should come to that. DJ Spinall continues to hype Dapo throughout the track, using his rift to beg Mariana to give the talented singer a shot.

To suit the moniker of the lucky lady Dapo adores, Rage, who takes credit for the track’s solid production, incorporates a Latin-influenced vibe, which works well to complement to the afropop sound that dominates the track.
