The federal government says the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) attacked 164 police stations across the country.
Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, disclosed this at a press conference on Friday.
He said the separatist group also killed 175 security operatives.
This revelation comes a day after the Federal High Court in Abuja fixed November 10 to hear an application filed by the leader of the proscribed group, Nnamdi Kanu, challenging the competence of the treasonable felony charges filed against him by the federal government.
