For three months APC leader Bola Tinubu stayed kneecapped in London after a surgery, his loyalists in the federal cabinet couldn’t not fly abroad like others for visit because of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari was the first to visit Tinubu after the president himself was done with his own medical check-up in the UK.

And for that reason, none of his ministers loyal to Tinubu could go there again.

Protocol of the administration forbids that.

“If the President has gone, no Minister, not even the Vice President, can go. Aregbesola’s relationship with Tinubu is mutually beneficial and reinforcing,” said Sola Fasure, media aide to Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola.

“Besides, every other person who has personal relationship with Tinubu but serving under President Muhammadu Buhari, will not also visit the former governor of Lagos State until he returns to Nigeria.”

According to Fasure, there’s no other reason his boss didn’t visit Tinubu in his London sick bay—contrary to the insinuation that the two are not on good terms.

Other known loyalists and protégés of Tinubu’s who couldn’t pop in there were V.P. Yemi Osinbajo,  Works Minister Babatunde Fashola , Mineral and Solid Resources Minister Niyi Adebayo, Minster of State(Health) Oloruninbe Mamoora.

Tinubu arrived Lagos 11 pm Thursday after recovering well from a kneecap surgery and what he described as gruesome physio.

While he was there, Govs Babjide Sanwo-Olu, Rotimi Akeredolu, Kayode Fayemi, senators, reps caucuses flew abroad to wish him a quick recovery.
