A female Nigerian police officer identified Omorala Sunday was on camera physically assaulting a pregnant woman, Cecelia Adeniji, in Lagos State.

Omolara Sunday is said to be attached to Alagolo Police station, Ipaja ayobo, Lagos opposite beside Igbogila Health Centre, Ayobo.

Recall that KanyiDaily reported about a Nollywood filmmaker, Lanre Adediwura, who found himself behind bars after having an altercation with a police officer while offering to give a lift his friend and a colleague, Cecelia Adeniji who is a pregnant woman.

According to Lanre Adediwura, he packed by the side of the road to pick his friend and colleague, who is a pregnant woman. Just as he was about to make his way to drive back onto the road, Omolara Sunday and three other police officers approached him and asked him to get out of his vehicle.

Omolara Sunday swung into the driver seat and made an attempt to seize the car. In the process, she used her elbow against the face of the pregnant lady who immediately started bleeding.

The police officers turned the situation around and that he and his friend assaulted them. The female police officer, Omolara Sunday even ripped her own uniform and lied that it was the filmmaker that assaulted her. Whereas the video clearly shows her beating pregnant Cecelia Adeniji.

To make the matters worse, officer Omolara Sunday and her colleagues framed Lanre and the pregnant Cecelia for assault, took them to Ejigbo Magistrate Court.

Where the judge adjourned the case and ordered them to be remanded in police custody until the process their bail and be set free.

But officer Omolara Sunday defied court orders and illegally took Lanre and pregnant Cecelia who she assaulted and framed to Kirikiri maximum prison. Where they stayed for 24hours.
