Senate Presidency: Osinbajo In Secret Meeting With Ndume

The Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Monday held a closed door meeting with Senator Ali Ndume at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He arrived the villa at about 3.20 p.m, and went straight to the vice-president’s office for the meeting whose agenda was kept secret.

Presidency sources say the meeting was the next Senate President.
The National leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had enjoined all APC members-elect of the National Assembly to support its decision to elect Ahmed Lawan and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Senate President and Speaker of the Federal House Representatives respectively.

But Ndume had insisted to contest for the seat of senate president. His action is generating some heat.
