With his energetic character and infectious music, Kida Kudz has garnered the attention of many; in addition to his global fanbase, the dynamic artist boasts support from top tier international musicians, such as A$AP Rocky.
Most recently, Kida Kudz caught our attention with his interview on the new media platform, Sauce, in which he discussed everything jiggy from his interests in fashion to his biggest inspirations for venturing into music: God and Lil Wayne.
In the comprehensive interview, Kida Kudz divulged that it was only in 2017 that he really knew he was truly meant to be in music. After the 2017 release of his hit single, “Issa Vibe” Kida Kudz found himself as an artist; from that moment on he was set on what he was going to do.
Two years later, he is preparing for his first project since forming his new sound, thanking Odunsi’s game-changing rare. for inspiring him through the process.
Kida Kudz titles the EP Nasty, in reference to his nasty character and the nickname one of his friends has given him, Nasty K. Speaking with Sauce, about his hopes for the project, Kida Kudz relates:
“It’s just to solidify the foundation of what “Issa Vibe” and “Again” have done. [They’ve] made people see a different part of me musically.”

Last year, Kida Kudz spent some time in LA, where he recorded his verse with Diggy Simmons on Jevon’s track, “Lingo”. When asked about his time in La La Land, Kida Kudz mentioned that he worked in the studio with No I.D., before teasing a collaboration with popular American rapper, Playboi Carti.
Besides in his catchy tunes, Kida Kudz also channels his creativity into fashion. Coming up, he has a collaboration with Daily Paper and plans to release his signature caps for public purchase.
In the interview, Kida Kudz suggested an Easter release for Nasty, so we are expecting this project sometime this month. Hopefully the Playboi Carti record will shortly follow — if it isn’t on the EP itself — because we simply cannot wait to hear what the pair have to offer!
