A few days ago, Burna Boy and Koffee settled on Twitter that they ought to collaborate, thanks to a hopeful tweet from a fan. Last night, the Jamaican up-and-comer marked her first show in the UK, and she used that moment to show the afro-fusion star some love by performing “Ye”.

Still riding on the wave of her debut project, Rapture — which has received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike — Koffee hosted an intimate show in one of London’s most exciting cultural hubs, Brixton, where she thrilled fans with her take on the Burna Boy hit.
Koffee’s live performance of “Ye” was indeed quite commendable, but it was the band accompanying her that really stole the show. The guitarist, in particular, managed to spice up the beloved track, especially during the iconic “I can’t come and kill myself” rift.
