Ibrahimovic, Coutinho Make Worst Barcelona Players Of The Last 20 Years List

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Phillippe Coutinho have been included in a list of Barcelona’s worst players of the last 20 years.

The list was compiled by English media outfit, The Sun Football, and published in a short video on their verified Twitter handle.

Former Arsenal stars Thomas Vermaelen, Alex Song and ex-Argentine and Villareal playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme were included.

Portuguese duo Ricardo Quaresma, Andre Gomes, Colombia and Everton dedender Yerry Mina, Richard Ditruel, Martin Caceres and Dmytro Chygrynskiy make up the list.

Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona in 2009 from Inter Milan but switched to AC Milan on loan after a disappointing season.

After five years at Liverpool, Coutinho left Anfield for Barcelona on January 2018 for a reported fee believed to be worth £105 million.

Coutinho did not live up to expectation and prior to the start of the 2019/2020 season, he joined Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on loan.

Song was signed by Barcelona in 2012 while former Arsenal teammate Vermaelen joined the Catalans in 2014 but both players failed to live up to expectation.
