The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have sent birthday greetings to former Super Eagles forward Obinna Nsofor who turns 33 on Wednesday, Completesports.com reports.
CAF wrote on their verified Twitter handle: “Happy Birthday to Nigerian striker Victor Obinna!”

And according to the NFF: “Happy birthday former Super Eagles forward, Obinna Victor Nsofor. Have a good one!”
Nsofor made his Super Eagles debut in 2005 had 48 caps, scored 12 goals before quitting in 2014.
He was in the Super Eagles squad that finished third at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Also he was in the 23-man squad that featured at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
At junior level, he helped the Flying Eagles win the 2005 U-20 AFCON hosted in Togo.
And he was in the Samson Siasia U-23 Eagles team that won silver in the football event at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
At club level he played for Plateau United, Enyimba, Kwara United, Chievo, Inter Milan, West Ham and Malaga.
