Tyson Fury has reportedly been invited by Manchester United to share his inspirational life story to the squad following his remarkable victory over Deontay Wilder.
Fury is on top of the world at the moment after his seventh round victory over American heavyweight rival Wilder on Saturday in Las Vegas, and United are looking to him to provide insight into how to battle back from the brink.
According to the Metro, the Red Devils have asked Fury to come to their Carrington training base to give a speech about his battle with depression to becoming heavyweight world champion.
Fury suffered from drink and drug problems after his title win over Wladimir Klitschko in 2015.
The Brit went up to a staggering 28 stone during his 32-month absence away from the ring before returning to his beloved sport in June 2018.
And just last weekend, Fury defied the odds to produce a performance for the ages and fire himself to the pinnacle of the heavyweight division again by beating Wilder in the seventh round at the MGM Grand.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes his remarkable story will help inspire his United squad to ensure they never give up from the brink of defeat.
The move comes after the Premier League launched their Heads Up campaign earlier this year to encourage players to open up about their struggles with mental health.
Fury’s incredible comeback story has already seen him receive invitations to meet Donald Trump at the White House and Pope Francis at the Vatican.
