Super Eagles winger Moses Simon bagged an assist for the second time in three games as Nantes recorded a 1-0 home win against Dijon in a French Ligue 1 game on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Simon teed up Ludove Blas for the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute.
The former KAA Gent of Belgium star has now scored two goals and recorded four assists in 15 league appearances for Nantes this season.
Simon, who is on loan at Nantes from from Spanish club, Levante featured for 90 minutes in the game.
In Italy, Ola Aina came in as 12th minute substitute for Lorenzo De Silvestri in Torino’s 2-1 home win against Fiorentina.
Aina provided the assist for Torino’s second goal scored by Cristian Ansaldi 18 minutes from time.
The versatile defender who was cautioned in the 32nd minute has featured in 12 league games for the Turin club this term.
In the Bundesliga, Jamilu Collins made his 13th league appearance of the campaign as SC Paderborn secured a slim 1-0 away win Werder Bremen.
Collins, who got a yellow card six minutes from time has scored once for Paderborn in the league this season.
The win was Paderborn’s second in the German top flight this season.
In the Turkish Super Lig, Anthony Nwakaeme grabbed the second goal in Trabzonspor’s 3-1 away win at Antalyaspor.
Nwakaeme has now registered four goals in 14 league games for Trabzonspor this season.
Erstwhile Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi played the entire duration of the game for Trabzonspor, while Ogenyi Onazi was benched.
In Spain, Kenneth Omeruo was benched, while Chidozie Awaziem saw action for 90 minutes in Leganes hard fought 3-2 home win against Celta Vigo.
The duo have played nine league games each for Leganes this season.
In the Dutch Eredivisie , Cyriel Dressers was in action for 90 minutes in Heracles’ 0-0 draw at Sparta Rotterdam.
Dressers, who recently expressed his desire to play for the Super Eagles has scored 11 times in 16 league appearances in the current campaign.
Also in the Eredivisie , Chidera Ejuke in action for 73 minutes in Heerenven’s 3-1 win against RKC Waalwijk.
Ejuke has six goals in 15 league appearances for Heerenven this season.
