AMGA 2024: Team Nigeria Won 15 Medals In Wrestling

Team Nigeria won a total of 15 medals in Wrestling at the ongoing Africa Military Games (AMGA).

The team clinched five gold, six silver and four bronze medals to finish second on the wrestling competition medals table.

Algeria won the event with 10 gold medals while Tunisia settled for third with three Silver and one Bronze.

Libya placed fourth on the log after amassing one silver and two bronze medals.

Meanwhile, Team Nigeria’s women’s basketball team lost their first game to Cameroon at the games.

The team fell to 37 – 77 defeat to their Cameroonian counterpart who proved dominant against their host.
