Arsenal are back in the race for Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen, reports Completesports.com.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Gunners are ready to pay €100m for the Nigeria international.
Osimhen has €130m release clause in the contract he signed last December.
Interested suitors have however been scared away by the hefty clause.
Arsenal are now willing to offer Napoli close to €100m plus bonuses.
The 25-year-old was top scorer in Serie A when Napoli won the Scudetto in 2023, finding the net 26 times in 32 games.
He also scored five goals in six Champions League matches for the Partenopei.
Last season, he suffered with injuries and was kept away for two months by Nigeria’s run to the Africa Cup of Nations Final, so scored only 15 in 25 Serie A appearances, plus two in six Champions League games.
