Nigeria’s Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has made it to the final of the men’s Shot Put at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.
Enekwechi advanced into Saturday’s final after finishing in fifth position in Group B.
The 31-year-old threw a distance of 21.13m. to earn himself a place among the finalists.

The African champions is first Nigerian to make it to the final of any event in Paris 2024.
It would be recalled that Enekwechi made it to the final of the Shot Put event four years ago in Tokyo.
He would be hoping to make it the podium by finishing in the top three in the final.
