Michael Olise marked an impressive with an assist as France edged Argentina 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the men’s football event of the Paris Olympic games on Friday.

Olise’s former Crystal Palace teammate Jean-Philippe Mateta was the hero as he netted the only goal that sent the host Into the semis.

Mateta broke the deadlock just five minutes into the game as he lost his marker to head home a well taken corner by Olise.
