Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has thanked God following her favourable ruling at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Amusan was cleared of violating World Athletics rules by missing three drug tests within a 12-month period in 2023.

The case was brought to CAS by World Athletics (WA) and World Anti Doping Agency (WADA).

The 27-year-old was suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) last year.

The athletes was later cleared to compete at 2023 World Athletics Championship by the AIU panel.

Had the WA and WADA appeal been upheld, Amusan would have miss out on the 2024 Olympic Games and suspended for two years.

The 27-year-old will now look to win her first Olympics medal in Paris.

She came fourth in the final of the women’s 100m hurdles four years ago in Tokyo.
