Napoli Fan Reveals Chat With Osimhen After Injury Setback

A Napoli fan who reportedly spoke with Victor Osimhen after a training session on Friday claims the striker reassured him about his injury, Football Italia reports.

Osimhen will miss Sunday’s match against Milan due to a muscle injury sustained during the international break.

According to reports in Italy Osimhen remains in doubt for both Champions League fixtures against the Rossoneri on April 12 and 18.

The 24-year-old reportedly spoke to a Napoli fan, David Ruggiero, after a training session at Castel Volturno on Friday.

The Nigeria international reportedly told the fan: “Don’t worry it’s just a small thing,” when asked about how long he’d remain out of action.

Ruggiero sent a picture alongside the Nigerian striker to the Facebook page ‘Il Napulegno’ which reported the story.

Osimhen has scored 25 goals in 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
