Yaya Toure has warned Manchester City to ensure they grab all available points in the remaining Premier League matches if they are to fight off Liverpool challenge in the title race.
Liverpool, now trailing City by three points, still have a game in hand and Toure – a three-time Premier League title winner with City – expects Jurgen Klopp’s side to be in the mix right until the end.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Toure said: “Liverpool are doing very, very well. I saw the game against West Ham, they have been lucky in certain times.
“But they are impressive. A good, good team. I think Man City need to win all their games, if possible, because I don’t see Liverpool dropping points, if I am honest. Chelsea are really far. But Liverpool are a big threat, for me.
“It’s just brilliant for the fans. Brilliant for the public and the people, who enjoy football.
“Liverpool and Man City have been battling themselves for years and years now. It’s nice to see. That’s why people love the Premier League.”
