Since joining Dalian Quanjian in 2017, Asisat Oshoala has proven to be one of the best players in the Chinese Women’s Super League.

Now, the Super Falcons star has taken another big step in her career, as FC Barcelona women’s team just confirmed that she has joined them on a loan deal!

As you can imagine, this is a dream come true for the 24-year-old, who has played for both the Liverpool and Arsenal Ladies’ team – undoubtedly some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Given this, you can say that this loan deal is a big win for her, as it comes with a priceless experience in European football.

This big win means that Oshoala will spend the rest of this season in Spain, where she’s expected to fortify the club’s attack, possibly resulting in the team coming out atop in the Primera División.

Goal quotes her as saying:

“My goal is to strengthen the team and help them to win and make history. This is a fantastic opportunity because I’m sure something big will happen here.”

Honestly, we expect nothing less from a three-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year, and we’re very pleased for her!
