Ighalo Voted Man United’s Man Of The Match In FA Cup Win Vs Derby County

Odion Ighalo has been voted Manchester United’s Man Of The Match, following his two goals scored against Derby County in Thursday night’s Emirates FA Cup fifth round tie, Completesports.com reports.

United made the announcement on their verified Twitter handle after the Cup game.

“Presenting your #MUFC Man of the Match,” United wrote with a photograph of Ighalo.

Making only his second start since joining United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua, Ighalo got his side’s second goal after Luke Shaw broke the deadlock.

Ighalo then added the third goal to secure United’s passage into the quarter-final where they will face Norwich City.

He now has three goals in six appearances in all competitions for United.
