The Nigeria Union of Journalists [NUJ] have spoken concerning the sudden increase in fuel pump price from the nationally announce price of N540 to N617.
The NUJ spoke up in a letter signed by the National Secretary Usman Leman and dated July 18, 2023. The Union called on the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria to “Stop the ugly drift” and come to the aid of the suffering populace.
The nation woke up on July 18, 2023 to the sudden shock of another fuel price increment unannounced.
