Sani Dangote, the younger brother of Africa’s richest man who died in US on Sunday has been buried in Kano

His body arrived in Nigeria from USA on Wednesday morning.

He was laid to rest at a cemetery located at No.92 Sarari quarters in Kano, on Wednesday morning.

The Chief Imam of Kano Emir’s palace, Sani Muhammad, led the prayer session at Kofar Kudu, Emir’s palace, Kano.

The funeral service witnessed a host of dignitaries.

Notable among them were Kashim shettima of Borno, former Bauchi state governor, Adamu Mu’azu, Borno state Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, THISDAY Publisher, Nduka Obaigbena; Chairman, BUA Group, Abdussamad Isiyaka Rabiu.

Other are Director-General, DSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi; Senate President Ahmad Lawan; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, among others.
