The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has reversed the appointment of Mr Festus Adedayo as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
The Senate President in a state issued by his Chief of Staff on Thursday said he reviewed Adedayo’s appointment after wide consultation.
Lawan however wishes the Media expert the best in his future endeavors.
“The office of the President of the Senate has reviewed the appointment of Mr. Festus Adedayo as Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President of the Senate and decided to rescind its decision on the appointment, and wishes Mr. Adebayo the best in his future endeavours.” Lawan explained.
FactualTimes earlier reported that APC stakeholders have rejected the appointment of Festus Adedayo.
The APC stakeholders during a press conference held in Abuja described Adedayo as strong anti-Buhari media influencer.
Festus Adedayo is a former Chairman of Tribune, Editorial Board and served as Special Adviser on Media to Ex-Oyo governor, Alhaji Abiola Ajimobi from 2011 to 2015.
