Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has admitted he is not happy with Ahmed Musa playing outside Europe.
Musa is currently on the books of Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr.
The winger left Leicester City in England, to enjoy playing time elsewhere.
But Rohr believes he would have been a much better player, if he was featuring for a top European team.
“Musa is a good Captain but playing in Saudi Arabia, we have to be honest it is not easy for him to play at the highest level always.
“He has always pushed himself to give his best for the team, that’s why I like him,” Rohr told SportingLife.
