Today Sunday, May 24 marks the end of the 2020 Ramadan fast, and faithful Muslims across the world celebrates in their various homes with their families due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
However, despite the pandemic and all that comes with it, Muslims in most Northern parts of Nigeria go to the Eid grounds to observed the Eid-El Fitri prayers.
Not left out, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, and other dignitaries in the country also observed the El-Fitr prayers to mark the end of the month of Ramadan fast with their face masks and keeping social distancing.
However, Nigerians after seeing photos of President Buhari sitting on a chair at the Eid ground began to ask questions as to why it was so.

Walahi, with the way SR goes about on Buhari one would think it’s election time again. And those who know nothing about Islam are liking and retweeting this! It’s offensive to Islam to criticise Buhari cos Islam allows sitting down. I sit down in church atimes while others stand

Then u don’t know how to pray.
How is it gona be convinient for someone from sojood to return to a high chair and sit while prayer is on going
And how is it gona be convenient from standing straight to sit when attempt to Rujoo or Sojood.
You don’t know your Salah.
