Brentford have now gone five straight games without defeat, recording two wins and three draws.
The win moved Brentford to 14th on 35 points while Luton are 18th on 25 points on the log.
With four games left to play Brentford are one point away from safety.
In the other game played Burnley hammered Sheffield United 4-1 away.
