Since last year, rising star, WurlD has been teasing the release of his debut EP, Love is Contagious. Now, the gifted singer has unveiled the tracklist for the much-anticipated project, accompanying the reveal with a new single, “Wishes & Butterflies”

“Wishes & Butterflies” begins with an arresting layer of jazzy notes, played sensually on the bass guitar. WurlD then flaunts his distinct vocals over the simple track, as he opens the sweet bop before the remaining instrumentals come in.

On the Shizzi-produced track, WurlD sings about needing real love, not someone who will simply sell him dreams. WurlD describes a bitter-sweet romance — one that he admits fills him with loathing, but he can’t help but continue to pine for it.

“Wishes & Butterflies” is the fourth single off the project, following “Paranoid”, “Contagious” and “Show You Off”. Love is Contagious is set to drop on March 22 and is now available for pre-order on streaming platforms.
