Nigeria has recorded another 170 new Coronavirus cases, taking its overall total to 2,558.
This represents a drop in the number of infections from what the nation raked in on Saturday, which stood at 220 cases.
In the figures released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday, Lagos top with 39 new cases of Coronavirus infections.
Kano came second with 29 new cases of the pandemic, while Ogun ramps up 24 new Coronavirus infections.
Also, Bauchi rakes in 18 new infections; Kaduna, 15; FCT and Sokoto, 12 cases each; Katsina, eight; Borno, seven; Nasarawa, three; Adamawa, two and Oyo, one.
“170 new cases of #COVID19; 39-Lagos, 29-Kano, 24-Ogun, 18-Bauchi, 15-Kaduna, 12-FCT, 12-Sokoto, 8-Katsina, 7-Borno, 3-Nasarawa, 2-Adamawa, 1-Oyo.
“There are 2,558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 400; Deaths: 87,” NCDC said on its twitter hand on Sunday.
