“23 In Kano, 5 In Gombe” – Nigeria Records 38 New Cases Of Coronavirus As Total Rises To 665

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control () has announced the confirmation of 38 new cases of , bringing the total number of infection in the country to 665.

On its Twitter page on Monday night, NCDC said 23 cases were discovered in Kano, 5 in Gombe, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Borno, 2 in Abia, 1 in FCT, 1 in Sokoto and 1 in Ekiti.

The number of deaths also increased from 21 to 22, just as the number of recoveries also rose to 188 patients.

NCDC said: “Thirty-eight new cases of ‪#COVID19‬ have been reported; 23 in Kano, five in Gombe, three in Kaduna, two in Borno, two in Abia, one in FCT, one in Sokoto and one in Ekiti.

“As at 11:10pm April 20, there are 665 confirmed cases of ‪#COVID19‬ reported in .”
