Fela Anikulapo Kuti was not only very popular as a Nigerian musician, he was also very controversial and often found himself in trouble with the government.
An epic throwback photo has now emerged showing the late music legend during one of his trying times
The photo (seen above) shows Fela in court with his lawyer, Femi Falana and his brother Dr Beko Ransome-Kuti. He was appearing in court after he was charged with murder by the Ibrahim Babangida-led Federal Government in 1993.
The legendary photo was supplied by Nigerian Museum.
