Kano State has been hit with five new Coronavirus cases, government health officials have said.
With this development, the State now has nine cases of Coronavirus.
According to Kano State Ministry of Health, on its twitter handle, on Wednesday, 15th April, 2020, as at 10:25am, 5 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Kano State.

On Tuesday, the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, recorded four confirmed cases of Coronavirus for Kano State.
Kano recorded its first Coronavirus case on April 11, when a former Nigerian Ambassador tested positive for the virus in the state.
With rising cases of Coronavirus in Kano, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Tuesday ordered total lockdown of the state for the next seven days.
The lockdown takes effect from Thursday, April 16, 2020 for a period of seven days.
