Kano State, northern Nigeria, has recorded fresh Coronavirus (COVID-19) case.
Naija News reports that Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a media aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State disclosed this in a tweet on Tuesday evening.
The development means the number of confirmed coronavirus patients in Kano State has now risen to four.
Governor Ganduje’s aide tweeted: “The Kano State Ministry of Health @KNSMOHhas confirmed 1 new positive case of COVID-19 in Kano, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 4.”

Similarly, the Kano State Ministry of Health confirmed the development, tweeting: “As at 6:00pm, 1 additional case of #COVID19 has been confirmed in @KanostateNg.”
