Rivers United head coach, Finidi George has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 12 encounter against Remo Stars.
The Port Harcourt club held their hosts to a 0-0 draw in the top-of the -table clash in Ikenne.
Finidi praised his players for their solid display in the keenly contested encounter.

The former Super Eagles head coach however said they were unlucky not to win the game.
“I think it was a good game, I think it was one of our best games, we had chances but we couldn’t take them,” Finidi stated in a post-match interview.
“The players did so well in the game, reflecting more on the game, we deserved more than the draw because we created most of the chances.”
