Breaking: First Covid-19 death in private hospital in Lagos announced

A Covid-19 victim has diedin a private hospital in Lagos, the state government announced April 5.

According to thestate commissioner for health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, the dead victim was a 36-year-old Nigerian man, and he  died in a private facility on April 4, 2020.

“Total number of COVID-19 patients who have died are now 2,” he tweeted.

“One case was evacuated, thus bringing the total number of evacuated to 2.

“Let StaySafe#ForAGreaterLagos.”
