Five family members who reportedly showed symptoms of coronavirus have been quarantined at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr Adamu Yahaya while speaking to Channels Television via telephone said the family members arrived Keffi Local Government Area from Ogun State two days ago and showed symptoms similar to that of COVID-19 which necessitated the quarantine.
Their specimens have been taken to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) laboratory in Abuja for testing and they would remain at the hospital’s isolation centre pending the arrival of results.

This is the first suspected case of coronavirus in Northern Nigeria.
