Taiwo Lawal doubled the lead for the hosts on 33 minutes off a fine assist from Oluwabunmi Oladeji

With five minutes left in the first half Lawal scored her second goal to make it 3-0 in favour of the Flamingos.

Guinea pulled a goal back from the penalty spot through Diallo Fatoumata Dede in the 85th minute after Chidinma Ogbuchi handled the ball inside the box.

A minute after Guinea’s goal, substitute Alvine Dah -Zossu made it 4-1 for the Flamingos after rounding Guinea goalkeeper to help her side recover their three-goal advantage.

And in the 90th minutes Chinyere Kalu scored from a freekick to end the game 5-1.

The Flamingos are hoping to make a return to the FIFA U-17 women’s World Cup after missing the 2018 edition in uruguay.
