The Kano State Government has dethroned the Emir of Kano, Emir Muhammad Sanusi II. He has been under investigation by the Kano State Anti-Corruption Commission on allegations of illegal land deals.
Kano State Government on Monday announced the removal of Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sunusi II.
Secretary to the Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji, made the announcement during the state executive council meeting.
Usman Alhaji said new emir will soon be appointed.
