Okwonkwo wins big with Montreal, crowned champion of the Canadian League

Nigerian born player Orji Okwonkwo, who is currently on loan from Bologna FC of Italy to Montreal Impact of Canada won big in the Canadian Cup game as his club Montreal Impact were crowned champions of the  Canadian League.

Montreal Impact ended Toronto FC ‘s three year back to back record as Canadian champions after winning the 2019 final through penalty shootout after an aggregate stalemate of 1-1.

The loanee from Bologna of Italy is one of the goal poachers for his club and so far he has started creating a household name for himself both in the Canadian League and also the USA MLS.
