A year ago, South African rapper, Nasty C released his awe-inspiring sophomore LP, Strings And Bling. Now, to celebrate the anniversary of the project, he’s come through with a music video for the album’s title track, and it’s just as moving as the song itself.
“Strings And Bling” is a deeply emotional track, upon which Nasty C opens up about his struggles, from suicidal ideations to betrayals. For the video, the wordsmith leads by example, spreading love and peace in the community where he grew up.
Set to the Stunna Sez Beats-produced instrumentals of the fantastic track, the video for “Strings And Bling” opens with documented footage of Nasty C showing his gratitude to everyone who helped him achieve success.
As we move into the song, Nasty C pulls up to his old school, performing the track alongside excited students. At just 22, Nasty C is already using his fame to give back to his community, showing up at his old sports grounds with brand new kits for the players.
