Stephen Odey ended his goal drought of five games for his Swiss club, FC Zurich who came from a goal down to beat Xamax 2-1 in Sunday’s league clash reports Completesports.com.

Odey who last scored a league goal for FC Zurich in their 3-1 loss to FC St. Gallen struck the winner for his side in the 76th minute of the game after Benjamin Kololli’s goal had cancelled out Pietro Di Nardo
opener for Xamax in the 55th minute.

In the Italian Serie B, Simy Nwankwo scored his ninth league goal for Crotone in their 2-2 draw at home to Lecce.

The Nigerian international gave the hosts the lead after six minutes but strikes from Andrea Tabanelli three minutes later and another from Andrea Tabanelli in the 25th minute gave Lecce a 2-1 lead until
Ahmad Benali salvaged a points for Crotone.

Nwankwo has now scored four goals in his last five league games for Crotone.

William Troost-Ekong made his 28th Serie A appearance for Udinese who lost 4-2 away to Napoli on Sunday. It was their second straight loss in the Serie A. Udinese are one point ahead of the relegation
zone.

In Spain, Samuel Chukwueze made his 10th La Liga start for Villarreal in their 3-1 home win over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Samuel Chukwueze played for 84 minutes before he was replaced for Pablo Fornals. Capped once by the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the 19-year-old has scored three league goals in 19 league game.

In the Segunda division, Ramon Azeez came on for Angel Montoro in the 75th minute of Granada’s goalless draw away at Almeria, his former team.

Azeez has featured three times since he joined the club from Lugo.

In Turkey, Abdullahi Shehu made his eight league appearance for Bursaspor who lost 3-2 to Henry Onyekuru’s Galatasaray on Sunday.

Onyekuru, currently the fourth top scorer in the Super Lig has scored 11 goals in 23 league appearances for Galatasaray provided an assist for Sofiane Feghouli to score the winner.

The 21-year-old was replaced in the 90th minute by Sinan Gumus.

In Denmark,Frank Onyeka scored his second league goal for FC Midtjylland who beat Sonderjysk 2-1 in a Superliga clash.

His compatriots Paul Onuachu and Riliwan Hassan also featured in the encounter. While Onuachu played the entire duration of the game Rilwan Hassan replaced Awer Mabil with six minutes left to play.
